Rose’s BookCross

Hello!

As I travel a lot on trains, I had this idea to start leaving copies of books I love on trains or stations for people to pick up, and hopefully read. I couldn’t possibly part with my copies of books, so decided that when I see a good one in a charity shop, I’d buy it then release it into the wild…

After a bit of Internet searching, I found out that this isn’t a new idea – it’s been going on for a while and goes by the name of ‘bookcrossing‘. There’s even a website that you can log books on and track them all over the world!

I’m keeping my bookcrossing small and simple though. I don’t know if it will work, or if the books will just end up thrown away by the cleaners (I hope not), or if anyone will let me know if they find and read one… we’ll just have to see!

Every book I release will have a QR code which links to this page, plus my Twitter address, and the hashtag #RosesBookCross.

On this page I’ll keep a list of the books I’ve sent off out into the world, with a link to the relevant blog post giving more details of their release…
